In response to expressed need, the University of the Sunshine Coast has developed a range of short courses in health promotion to be offered at the Sippy Downs campus, and enrolments to the short courses and graduate programs are now open.

The University of Adelaide Dental School is offering a Graduate Certificate in Dentistry which is an external postgraduate program available to dental and oral health practitioners. Candidates can continue to practice in their field of dentistry, oral health, therapy or hygiene while completing the 6 units of formal theory. The tutition fee is $10,000 for the 12 units and students also pay 50 percent of the student services fee for each semester that they are enrolled. Course fees are expected to increase in 2006. The program is part-time and can be take over up to three years (but may be completed sooner).

In 2005 the School of Public Health, in close association with the Australian
Health Policy Institute, will launch the first of three postgraduate courses in health policy. Together, these courses - which are listed below - will constitute an articulated program that will be fully operational from 2007.
Graduate Certificate in Health Policy (available part-time from 2005)
Graduate Diploma in Health Policy (available part time or full-time from 2006)
Master of Health Policy (available part-time or full-time from 2007)
